Sonadow Changes - chapter 2 part 3

I'm sorry it took forever to do this story, I didn't have any inspiration at all and had a major huge story block and I am truly sorry for it. It took forever to think of what to do, I hope i make up for it with this.

Sonic sighed it's been a week and a half since Shadow went on his mission and he couldn't get in touch with him since then. This wasn't a surprise to Sonic but, he just didn't like it it always made him worry. Sonic played with a cloth that Tails wrapped around his arm when a hot piece of metal from one of Eggman's robots touched his arm when it exploded, he had nothing better to do and he was so bored! The sun was starting to set when Sonic got back from helping Tails in his workshop. Now he was doing nothing, Sonic sighed and turned on his computer he wasn't in the mode to play video games which was very odd even for him. Sonic sighed as he just started surfing the web. Sonic was watching videos of racing cars and he just chuckles "they call those fast?" He looked at the corner of his screen to see someone calling him to a video chat and he almost leaped for joy to see Shadow's name. Sonic answered the call to see his Shadow gently smiling at him.
"Ok you have a lot of explaining to do" Sonic sighed gently
Shadow chuckled always expecting that greeting every single time "you know why"
"Hey big blue" a familiar voice said
Sonic faced palmed at Rouge's nickname for him "please Rouge stop calling me that"
Rouge laughed "nah I know how to push your buttons"
she leaned down to show her face in the camera and Shadow put his hand on her face and gently pushed her away "Rouge go to sleep" she shrugged and walked away.
Shadow looked up at Sonic and noticed the cloth on his arm "are you alright Sonic? What happened?"
"A hot piece of metal hit my arm" Sonic didn't say the rest
"Eggman?" Shadow asked and Sonic nodded "please be carful"
"Sorry" he looked down 'should I tell him? I'll wait' Sonic said when he looked back up again to see Shadow looking at him worried.
"Sonic are...?" Shadow asked, Sonic was taken back for a second then, slowly nodded and a small smile appeared on his face and Shadow smiled gently back "I'll try to get a early leave"
Sonic smiled even wider "I would love that" Shadow nodded and Sonic added "well, at least you didn't freak out like the last time"
"You know o wasn't prepared for that information" Shadow said as he leaned back on the chair he was sitting in and crossed his arms a crossed his chest covering half of his chest fur. Sonic remembered that day, he was pacing the living room totally dumbfounded and t cracked Sonic up and Sonic started to laugh a bit.
"Hey stop it!" Shadow said "it wasn't funny" he mumbled the last word and did an invisible pout. That made Sonic laugh more and Shadow turned from the screen and he nodded and looked back at Sonic.
"I'm sorry Sonic I have to go now" Shadow said sadly
"It's alright, when can you get back on?" Sonic asked
Shadow smiled "maybe tomorrow or Friday"
Sonic nodded " bye, I love you"
"I love you too" Shadow said back and the screen went dark. Sonic smiled gently and he got into bed and went to sleep.
